Operations Supervisor
As a Supervisor, your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations. You
will be at the forefront, handling operational issues, and effectively escalating them to the
appropriate departments. Your leadership will cultivate a work environment that fosters driver
success and satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the overall success of TowerEV.
Your primary responsibilities will include implementing operational protocols, actively monitoring
our operations and runners, and providing ongoing coaching to our drivers. Through regular
coaching sessions, you will focus on enhancing road safety practices, ensuring proper app
usage, promoting professionalism, and addressing any other pertinent concerns that arise.
Your expertise and experience will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service

Job Title: Supervisor
Department: EV1 Operations
Reports to: EV1 Operations Managers
Hourly Rate: $28.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
Supervisors must perform all essential functions listed below, with or without reasonable
accommodation.
Vehicles and Driving
● Have an active California driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance.
Be a safe driver and maintain a clean driving record throughout the term of your
employment.
● Meet minimum vision standards as required by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
for safe driving. If your driver’s license denotes that you must wear corrective lenses,
you must wear them whenever driving for Tower EV.
● Follow defensive driving techniques and adhere to traffic laws to minimize the risk of
incidents.
● Train Runners to ensure the vehicles are clean, replenished with supplies and tools for
every shift.
● Ensure that vehicle inspections for cleanliness and damages, both inside and outside
are being submitted daily.
● Manage the vehicle keys.
● Conduct weekly vehicle inspections to ensure there is no unreported damage to the
vehicle and all tools/supplies are present in each vehicle.Communications and Leadership
● Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
● Ability to read and understand maps, the Uber Dashboard, Tesla interface.
● Ability to learn regularly used softwares such as Samsara, Scalefusion, Fleetio, and ADP
Workforce
● Maintain a positive attitude and assist drivers and runners with guidance.
● Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to address unexpected challenges or
issues that may arise during your shift duties.
● Remain calm and composed under pressure and take proactive measures to resolve
issues effectively.
● Escalate issues to the right departments.
● Delegating tasks to subordinates with clear directions.
● Willingness to cover Runner responsibilities when Runners are not available.
Operations
● Ensure the dispatch is conducted efficiently per standards of our operations.
● Create weekly schedules with Ops Manager and approve timecards on a daily basis.
● Ability to maintain strong communication with Management.
● Ensure Runners are providing the required tools to the Drivers prior to each shift. .
● Monitor zoning for drivers and position them according to zone maps provided by the
managers.
● Monitor safety alerts and escalate to the safety department.
● Monitor performance on Uber dashboard and escalate repetitive low scorers to the ops
managers.
● Coach drivers of road safety, break compliance, professionalism, customer service.
● Answering phones to assist drivers with any road-side assistance.
● Ability to analyze any road-side situation and take the proper steps to efficiently resolve
the issue.
● Help runners manage parking and traffic in the garage.
● Ensure vehicles are being charged before shifts begin.
● Delegate tasks to runners to minimize downtime.
● Ensure coverage when runners are on breaks.
● Monitor runners on a regular basis to ensure softwares like Samsara and Uber
dashboard are being used appropriately.
● Maintain and evaluate attendance points.
● Assist with the setup of the newly arrived vehicles.
Compliance
● Abide by all company policies.
● Exercise caution and vigilance to avoid accidents and damages to company property.
● Reiterate CA break compliancy to drivers and runners.
● Be willing to undergo random drug testing as required by the California Public Utilities
Commission (CPUC) regulations.
● Maintain compliance with all drug testing policies and procedures to uphold safety
standards.
● Adhere to Company policy prohibiting the use, possession and/or consumption of
alcohol and drugs while working.● Coach and issue warnings to drivers when they are out of line from company policy
General Skills and Qualifications
● Be able to handle the mental stresses involved in interacting with various personalities
and attitudes on a daily basis.
● Be open to feedback and coaching from management to improve performance and
service quality. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to changes in company
policies and procedures.
● Maintain a clean workspace.
● Willingness to take suggested company paid courses to improve personal growth.
● Ability to work without supervision.
● Problem solving skills are important to adequately fulfill this role.
● Clear understanding of CA labor laws.
● Be able to frequently move to interact with fellow employees.
● Deal with stress associated with a fast-paced work environment and multiple
priorities/tasks.
● Make judgment decisions and adapt to changing situations, grasp and apply new ideas,
communicate with various personalities at all levels and have the ability to apply
common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.

● Maintain company phone log up to date.
● Approve inventory and submit purchase orders on a weekly basis.
Technology
● Possess the ability to operate the Uber driver app, Tesla interface, Fleetio, and
navigation systems proficiently.
● Possess the ability to use Mac and windows OS, be familiar with google drive, docs and
spreadsheets or other equivalent softwares.
● Stay updated on technological advancements and utilize relevant tools and resources
effectively.
● Be able to quickly learn new apps/softwares/dashboards adopted and used in the
company.
● Abide by the company's cyber security policies.
Work Schedule
Supervisors are required to have flexible schedule availability to ensure there are no
interruptions in the operations. Schedules may be adjusted anytime to meet the needs of the
operations but the management will work with you to find a balanced and predictable schedule
when possible.
Communication Channels
The following are the official communication channels at TowerEV:
● Emails; a towerwav.com email will be assigned to you.
● Dialpad; for calling
● Teams and Whatsapp; for internal text messaging.Texting with drivers is discouraged unless there is an emergency. All official communication
must happen in the channels mentioned above.
Benefits
● Personal phone use reimbursement of $40 will be issued monthly.
● Eligible to receive 90% health insurance premium reimbursement after 90 days of
employment. A proof of health insurance premium payment must be submitted to be
issued this reimbursement. TowerEV does not provide dental and vision reimbursements
at the moment.
● You can accrue up to two weeks of paid vacation (PTO) and use after 90 days of
employment.
● Eligible employees are required to provide ample notice and get HR approval prior to
using paid vacation.
Training and Development Opportunities
TowerEV believes in continuous learning and development of its employees. To encourage this
ongoing learning employees are reimbursed for learning platform subscriptions. A few examples
of such subscriptions are Udemy, skillshare. Other paid courses may be reimbursed upon
approval from HR.

positive and cooperative attitude; communicate regularly with your supervisor about work
issues; demonstrate efficient time management; demonstrate regular and reliable attendance
and punctuality; meet applicable productivity standards; and complete other duties as assigned
by Tower EV from time to time.
