EV Charging Attendant

The Charging Attendant is responsible for ensuring our electric fleet remains efficient, safe, and always road-ready. They will be responsible for two core areas, charging management and vehicle logistics. They will be plugging in and monitoring electric vehicles, ensuring optimal charging, and repositioning vehicles throughout the site based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plug EVs into chargers and manage vehicle organization, while monitoring charge levels.
Organize vehicles so that uncharged cars are ready to be connected as soon as a vehicle completes charging.
Navigate the vehicles throughout the lot to charging stations, and to their designated zones for dispatch.
Additional Duties:
Report any maintenance needs or mechanical issues promptly.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding vehicle status and any delays.
Help maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicles.
General Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and showcase the ability to take initiative, value collaboration, and become highly adaptable.
Must be highly organized with a focus on workflow structure.
Be able to quickly learn new applications, software, and dashboards as adopted and used within the company.
Must have an active driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance as needed.

The hourly wage for this position is $20.00.
