Safety Associate 

Job Description 

The Safety Associate is responsible for assisting the core of our operations by ensuring the well-being of our drivers, and the communities we serve. They will support the Safety Managers by assisting with workers’ compensation claims, investigations, and other safety related administrative tasks. This role helps ensure a safe workplace and adherence to all applicable safety regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Support workers’ compensation claims and accident investigations. 

  • Assist with safety policies, inspections, and audits. 

  • Track and report safety data, incidents, and training. 

Additional Duties: 

  • Monitor company compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations. 

  • Provide administrative support, including data entry and recordkeeping. 

General Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Experience in safety, compliance, or related fields. 

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations. 

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and showcase the ability to take initiative, value collaboration, and become highly adaptable. 

  • Be able to quickly learn new applications, software, and dashboards as adopted and used within the company.  

  • Must have an active driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance.  

  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance as needed.
