Success in this role requires effective collaboration among team members and supporting drivers through training and development. Operations Coordinators are expected to proactively take initiative on operational challenges and help drive continuous improvement.
We are seeking a FULL-TIME candidate.
Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Department: Operations
Reports to: WAV Manager
Hourly Rate: $20/hour
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Operations:
Assist management in facilitating daily operations by ensuring efficient communication and the smooth execution of tasks.
2. Safety and Customer Service Standards:
Lead by example in following safety protocols and promoting a customer-first mindset. Support vehicle maintenance reporting to ensure all vehicles are in safe, working order.
3. Employee Training & Development:
Assist management with the onboarding and continued training of employees to ensure operational excellence across teams.
4. Teamwork:
Work closely with all team members to ensure effective day-to-day operations and support real-time problem-solving.
5. Maintain Professionalism and Respect:
Promote a respectful, inclusive, and supportive work environment for all team members.
6. Problem Solving and Adaptability:
Take initiative and remain adaptable in the fast-paced and dynamic transportation industry.
7. Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain open and effective communication with management and other team members to ensure company goals are met.
8. Dispatch and Monitoring:
Ensure driver coverage across all active service zones.
Communicate with drivers professionally regarding zone assignments during shifts.
Report low performers and safety concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership qualities and team coordination skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a willingness to continuously learn.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with transportation platforms such as Uber or Lyft is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn and operate company tech tools (smart tablets, computers, etc.).
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage provided through Thatch’s ICHRA, starting the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.
- Paid time off begins accruing weekly from the first week but is only usable after 90 days. All PTO requests must receive HR/Manager approval in advance.
- Eligible employees may receive a $40 monthly phone reimbursement, depending on position.
Technology:
Company Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, and Excel.
Learning New Tools: Open to learning new company tools and software as needed.
Cybersecurity Awareness: Follow Tower EV’s cybersecurity policies to ensure protection of company data.
