About the Role: The Driver position is all about providing safe, professional and timely transportation for all passengers. Drivers are required to obey all traffic laws in order to effectively create a safe and professional atmosphere. We are thrilled to see how your skills and experience will contribute significantly to our company. Below is an overview of your responsibilities and other pertinent information.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Hourly Rate: $19.25 + 100% Uber Tips [$3-4/hr]

HIRING FULL TIME 8 HOUR SHIFTS & PART-TIME 4 HOUR SHIFTS!!!
Part-Time Includes:
*Tuesday-Saturday 3PM-7PM
*Thursday-Monday 4PM-8PM
*Thursday-Monday 9PM-1AM

Key Responsibilities: 

• Safe Driving and Navigation
  • Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, and maintaining a clean driving record.
  • Use GPS and other navigation tools to determine the best routes, avoiding traffic and ensuring timely arrivals.

• Customer Service
  • Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and accommodating to passengers’ needs and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing updates on estimated arrival times and any potential delays.
  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints from passengers in a  professional manner.

• Vehicle Care
  • Regularly inspect the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking for any damages, notifications, tires, and other essential components.
  • Always create a clean and inviting environment for all drivers. Check for any messes made in between all trips to ensure each passenger receives the same standard of rides.

General Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unpredictable situations.
• Handle interacting with various team members on a daily basis.
• Past experience in ride share apps.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must have an active driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance. 
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.

Benefits:

• (FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYEES) Medical, dental, and vision benefits are provided through Thatch’s ICHRA, starting on the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.
• Paid time off is accrued weekly from the first week of work but cannot be used until after completing 90 days of employment. Eligible employees are required to provide ample notice and get HR/Managerial approval prior to using paid vacations.

Technology:

• Stay updated on technological advancements and utilize company tools and resources effectively.
• General Knowledge of the Uber Application, and its functions.
• General to Proficient knowledge of ADP depending on job position.
• Be able to quickly learn new apps, software, and dashboards adopted and used within the company.
• Abide by the company’s cybersecurity policies.

• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Meet applicable productivity standards.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by TowerMobility.

• Employees must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Schedules are malleable and may be subject to change. Please check in with Management regarding any changes.
