About the Role: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for handling operational issues and effectively escalating them to the appropriate departments. They will implement operational protocols, actively monitor our operations, and provide ongoing coaching to our drivers. Through regular coaching sessions, they will focus on enhancing road safety practices, ensuring proper app usage, promoting professionalism, and addressing any other pertinent concerns that arise. Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Department: Operations
Reports to: Operations Manager

Annual Salary: $69,000

We are looking for:

Overnight Flexible Worker (Sunday-Thursday)
Must be flexible in work schedule depending on Operational Needs. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Dispatch and Driver Management
    • Ensure the dispatch is conducted efficiently per standards of our operations.
    • Monitor zoning for drivers and position them according to zone maps provided by the Operations Managers.
    • Monitor performance on Uber Dashboard and escalate repetitive low scorers to the Operations Managers.
    • Coach drivers on road safety , break compliance, professionalism, and customer service.
    • Answer phones to assist with any road-side assistance.
    • Ability to analyze any road-side situation and take the proper steps to efficiently resolve the issue.
    • Maintain and evaluate attendance points.
    • Preferred experience in providing disciplinary actions, and no issues with providing write ups and coachings as necessary. 

  • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Create weekly schedules with Operations Managers.
    • Ensure Operations Coordinators are providing the required tools to the Drivers prior to each shift.
    • Delegate tasks to Operations Coordinators to minimize downtime.
    • Ensure coverage when Operations Coordinators are on breaks.
    • Monitor Operations Coordinators on a regular basis to ensure softwares like Samsara and Uber Dashboard are being used appropriately.
    • Help Operations Coordinators manage parking and traffic in the garage.

  • Vehicle and Equipment Management
    • Ensure vehicles are being charged before shifts begin.
    • Monitor safety alerts and escalate to the Safety Department when needed.
    • Assist with the setup of the newly arrived vehicles.
    • Ability to maintain strong communication with the Management team.

General Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unpredictable situations.
  • Handle interacting with various team members on a daily basis.
  • Experience in Operations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have an active driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance. 
  • Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits are provided through Thatch’s ICHRA, starting on the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.
  • Paid time off is accrued weekly from the first week of work but cannot be used until after completing 90 days of employment. Eligible employees are required to provide ample notice and get HR/Managerial approval prior to using paid vacations.
  • $40 personal phone reimbursement eligibility depending on position will be issued monthly. 

Communication Channels:

  • Email; a towerev, towermobility, or towerwav email will be assigned to you.
  • Dialpad; for making outward calls or receiving inward calls based on department.
  • Microsoft teams; for internal communication between employees.

Technology:

  • Stay updated on technological advancements and utilize company tools and resources effectively.
  • Preferred intermediate knowledge on all Microsoft Applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • General Knowledge of the Uber Application, and its functions.
  • General to Proficient knowledge of Paylocity depending on job position.
  • Possess the ability to operate the Uber Driver App, Tesla Interface, Fleetio, and navigation systems proficiently.
  • Be able to quickly learn new apps, software, and dashboards adopted and used within the company.
  • Abide by the company’s cybersecurity policies.
