WAV Operations Supervisor
Job Description

The Operations Supervisor oversees running the branch efficiently and effectively 
while holding a range of responsibilities. They are responsible for day-to-day operations of the 
site, both onsite and remotely, managing all vehicles and employees assigned to the location.
This role will remain flexible in availability and ensure that communication is at the forefront of 
everything they do to keep maintaining effective leadership with drivers and organizational 
partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understanding the site’s key performance indicators, including supply hours, and vehicle uptime, while taking accountability for ensuring the site consistently hits all targets.
  • Onboarding new drivers, managing their schedules, and monitoring driver performance and safety with regular coaching and follow-up.
  • Coordinating vehicles to and from shops, ensuring maintenance and repairs are completed on a timely basis, and maintaining a reliable preventative maintenance schedule.
Additional Duties:
  • Communicating site needs and performance to upper management and leadership through scheduled meetings and reports.
  • Managing all paperwork such as vehicle documentation, registrations, and payroll related tasks with accuracy and consistency.
  • Occasionally driving on the fleet platform when office work is minimal and supply hours need to be met.

  • Showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills by continuously keeping drivers, leadership, and partners informed. 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and showcase the ability to take initiative, value collaboration, and become highly adaptable.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Be able to quickly learn new applications, software, and dashboards as adopted and used within the company. 
  • Must have an active driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance. 
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.

Additional Information:
  • Operations in Portland run 24/7, and this role requires someone who can adapt their schedule and be responsive to employee and site needs throughout the week.

  • The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
Final compensation within the posted range is determined by a combination of factors, including 
a candidate’s years of relevant experience, specialized expertise, and demonstrated track 
record; educational background, professional certifications, and proficiency in tools, 
technologies, or methodologies relevant to the position. Geographic location may also be 
considered to reflect regional labor market conditions. Additionally, the specific duties, scope of 
responsibility, and seniority level associated with the role influence placement within the range. 
All offers are further informed by current industry and regional market data, as well as internal 
equity considerations to ensure fair and consistent compensation across the organization.
